Cognovo is currently in discussion with a number of proven independent providers of wireless technology and will, in due course, be able to offer both protocol stacks and physical layer implementations optimised for the SoftModem Platform and ready for production. These will be licensable separately to provide customers with the greatest scope for mixing between legacy and new standards and in-house and external solutions.

As the consumer electronics industry demands ever more complex multi-mode wireless products and use-cases, these solutions will provide a huge benefit in terms of reduced cost, risk and time-to-market.
